People in many countries around the world celebrate Easter, Christians go to mass to remember Jesus, and how he rose from the dead to a new life, while for others Easter means brightly colored eggs, springtime and the Easter bunny who brings with him a basketful of candy. But for PETA-people (folks who support the animal supremacy group known as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), Easter means dressing up like chickens, protesting meat eaters, and splashing unsuspecting people with colorful fake blood. Basically there idea of Easter is diarrheaing all over everyone’s stat holiday.

Remember in 2001 when PETA issued Easter Cards that on the front said "What wouldn’t Jesus do?" On the inside of the card was a depiction of Jesus holding a knife while standing in front of his apostles at the Last Supper, slicing open a cow's neck as rivers of blood spurt out. With a caption that said: Jesus Was The Prince Of Peace, Not A Bloody Butcher. And for Easter 2003 PETA erected billboards all over the place with a picture of a pig and a caption that read "he died for your sins."

So how’s PETA celebrating Easter this year? Well, they seem busy all around the world:

• In India yesterday PETA activists staged a demonstration, urging people to not to eat eggs this Easter. They had some people dressed as a hen, rooster and fluffy yellow chicks to urge people to "give chickens something to celebrate" this Easter by foregoing eggs.
• In Australia PETA, this time protesting sheep mulesing, tried to place a billboard which shows a blood-soaked lamb on a crucifix with the tag-line `Have mercy on them, stop mulesing and live exports' – in time for the Easter weekend were rejected by billboard owners who wouldn’t lease out their space to them.
• In Vienna PETA activists "crucified" three other activists with animal masks in a Good Friday protest outside Vienna's St Stephan's Cathedral, while crowds shouting, "We suffer and die for your sins of nourishment." 
• And over in Houston  PETA fired off a letter to Robert G Eveleth Jr., president of Houston-based photo-studio chain Studio Management, Inc., urging the company to immediately stop using live rabbits as props for Easter photos and replace them with stuffed animals.

I’m sure it won’t be long before PETA sends out a press release urging people not to eat chocolate bunnies or eggs as it represents the eating of helpless innocent animals. Anyways,
